* A BRITISH VICTORIAN 17TH LANCER'S 'CZAPKA' or 'LANCE-CAP',
circa 1890, with black hard leather bowl mounted with an embossed brass helmet plate with battle honours up to 'SOUTH AFRICA 1879', yellow and blue cloth band below the white quilted square-topped crown, blue and yellow plume holder with central 'death's head' button to the front left face and white horse-hair plume (some fading and crazing, losses to edges of crown)
